Q: On what stock are the business cards printed?

A: The cards are printed on 12 point KromeKote Coated 2 side stock.  A layer of varnish is also added.

Q: Can the business cards be two-sided?

A: Yes, for the same price, you can have full color on BOTH sides of the card.

Q: What file types would be best to send to you?

A: PDF files are most convenient to use and provide high quality results.  We accept all Macintosh based applications (Quark XPress, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop), but we request all fonts be created to outlines or rasterized to get best results.

Q: Can the business cards bleed off the edges?

A: Yes, the cards can bleed on all four sides.

Q: How much bleed should I build into the business card design?

A: Please build 1/8” on all four sides for proper bleed.

Q: How do I place my order?

A: You can click any of the information tabs for more information.  There is a link on each page that reads, “Submit an Order Today”.  Fill out the form completely and make sure to Attach a File where prompted.  A response email will be sent to you, detailing the specifications of your order. Someone will contact you with any questions or problems that arise.

Q: How long until I receive my business cards?

A: We will ship your business cards within 5-7 days of your order.

Q: Will I be provided a proof before printing?

A: Yes, an emailed PDF proof will be provided.  We will not print your order until we have received an approval from you.

Q: Can I do more than one layout per 1000 business cards?

A: No, each card will be printed in quantities of 1000.

Q: What do you mean by no charge for setup?

A: We do not charge you a fee to take your artwork and proof it and set it up on our plates.  We do, however, charge $75 per hour (charged in ¼ hour increments) to design a card or if your artwork needs rework.  We will contact you to discuss this if it is the case.

Q: Does Print Metro offer other printing services?
